Brass Audition Music Now Available |
Attention all brass musicians!Â
The required etude for the 2012 audition process is now available as part of the Audition Overview packet now available in CorpsData. Crusaders Brass Caption Head Chad Pence and composer Ryan George have collaborated to create an original comprehensive etude that provides an equal opporutnity for each brass candidate to display their tone, flexibility, range, dexterity, and musical expression.
As in every year, this preliminary packet will be supplemented with a more comprehensive technique packet in the coming months, but this is the single piece of music every candidate will play in their individual audition.
Candidates who have filled out an application can find the packet by logging into CorpsData and going to the Brass folder. If you have not yet filled out an application, fill one out here. |
