2011 Spring Fling a huge success!

The 2011 Spring Fling was a smashing success. Over 500 people packed  the Hall to enjoy the Crusaders Senior Corps performance and experience Boston Crusaders’ Revolution! Attendees enjoyed silent and live auctions, basket raffle, lottery board raffle, wine pull and Joe Ricci Bingo. This festive evening would not be complete without a salute to our Hall of Fame inductees: Jack LaSelva, Ed McCabe and Rick Woodall as well as our Volunteer of the Year Award designee Karen Dillard. Being recognized for his 10 years as brass arranger, Jay Kennedy received the award for Artistic Leadership.

The Spring Fling was a great opportunity to bring together both the Senior & Junior Corps, alumni, volunteers, fans and friends and was a great kick-off to the Summer touring season. Our special guest, Vic Firth, summed up the evening best, “I see the impact of music and participation on young adults well into the future.”
