The Boston Crusaders, one of the oldest and most successful organizations in drum corps history, is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year. Originally established in 1940 as the Most Precious Blood Crusaders, a local CYO affiliated drum corps, the Crusaders rose to national prominence as the Hyde Park Crusaders in the 1950's and eventually became the Boston Crusaders in the 1960's.

The Crusaders have consistently pushed the creative envelope over the past several decades with aggressive, crowd pleasing performances.

The extended Crusader family includes several thousand former alumni from all over the USA as well as international. Many of the Crusader family will reunite on the evening of September 25, 2010 for their 70th Anniversary Reunion Party at the IBEW Hall in Boston.
