Audition Questions
While we try to proactively ask and answer any potential questions here on the website, we invariably get a number of the same questions over and over again as we approach camp.  Here are the most often repeated questions, with answers:

How much is camp this weekend?
$80 audition fee + $60 camp fee = $140

Where is camp?
Lakewood Ranch High School, 5500 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. Bradenton, FL 34211
School Website (look for this entrance)

What time should I be there Friday and when are we done Sunday?
Registration begins at 6PM Friday.  Dismissal will be at 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

Do I need to bring my instrument or equipment?
Technically no, but we only have enough equipment for a full drum corps, and we are expecting more than 150 people this weekend.  If you can bring your own or your school's equipment, we recommend it.  (Including guard equipment and marching percussion.)

What else do I need to bring?
The most important additional items you need to bring are the administrative documents found in the library in the corps hall (CorpsData).  Included in this packet is a liability waiver and a medical release form.  You will not be able to participate in the camp if you do not submit these two documents.  You should also bring any other music or paperwork found in the library.  Aside from that, bring comfortable clothes and items needed for sleeping/showering/rehearsing for three days.

I can't come to this camp; when is the video audition deadline?
Sunday, Nov 29.  Email the link to your video to us.

My flight/bus/car is late/cancelled.  Who do I call?
If you RSVPd in the corps hall, we have your info and you have our contact info.  If you need to reach us, call the corps office number 617-268-4600 and it will have instructions on who to call in case of an emergency.

Can my parents stay?

Of course!  Our rehearsals are open to the public, and we encourage your parents to hang around and meet other parents, staff and administration.  First year parents are especially encouraged to learn more about the corps.
